    • Scott J. Silbert, President and founder of Creative Planning Strategies (CPS), has built a successful career in the financial services industry since 1981 through a combination of innovative financial strategies and client advocacy.  While he started – as most people do – with a traditional view of money, he quickly realized that money is three dimensional and is moving all the time.  In order to give his clients a more accurate view, Scott developed a three-dimensional approach and harnessed proprietary software to better design and measure wealth strategies.

    Since founding Creative Planning Strategies, Scott has worked with a wide range of Fortune 500 executives and high net worth individuals.  He is regularly recommended by highly-regarded advisors from some of the country’s most prestigious accounting firms, banks, law firms, family offices and other financial advisors.  Scott’s clients and their advisors deeply appreciate his creativity and integrity to deliver what he promises and to keep the clients’ best interests front and center at all times.

    Early in his career, Scott worked with his grandfather and father at Sterling National Bank and Trust Company of New York (NYSE: STL).  During that time, Scott’s grandfather, Theodore H. Silbert, was Sterling’s CEO and Chairman of the Board and a well-known business leader and philanthropist.

    Scott is active in many charitable organizations, loves classic rock and roll and contemporary jazz, and collects electric guitars. He lives in New York City with his wife, three grown children and adorable apricot teacup poodle, Zuzu.

    Scott’s credits include Top of the Table membership in the Million Dollar Round Table, and membership in the prestigious President’s Councils of The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company, The Guardian Life Insurance Company of New York and the MassMutual Life Insurance Company.
